RAPAPORT... Diamond brand Hearts On Fire named Janie Bryant, the costume designer for the television show "Mad Men," and Tara Subkoff, the owner and designer of the Imitation of Christ Fashion Line, as brand ambassadors to drive awareness in both print and digital marketing efforts beginning in September. Hearts On Fire prepared a multi-channel media campaign to accompany the announcement, which can be found here.

Bryant has been recognized with an Emmy award, Costume Designers Guild awards and many nominations for Mad Men. "In costume design, it's all about detail and inspiration, and that is why Hearts On Fire diamonds have a unique appeal for me," said Bryant (pictured on the right). "They can change the focus of a room the same way great costume design can change the focus of a scene." subkoff bryant

Subkoff (pictured on the left) launched the Imitation of Christ brand in 2001 as a fashion and art collective, re-imagining vintage pieces by sewing each by hand. Her aesthetic has been tapped for several projects in the art and fashion world, including collaborations with Chloe Sevigny, Milla Jovovich, Scarlett Johansson, Selma Blair, Nate Lowman and Maurizio Cattelan. Her project with Hearts On Fire will debut at the Imitation of Christ Spring | Summer 2013 fashion week presentation this September.

"I was instantly drawn to the power and brilliance of Hearts On Fire," said Subkoff. "To me, being an original is still the most important part of who I am, and these one-of-a-kind diamonds are a perfect match."

Caryl Capeci, the vice president of marketing for Hearts On Fire, said, "The unique talents and passions of Janie and Tara make them a perfect addition to our family. With the launch of our new fashion oriented collections, Illa and Copley, future partnerships and collaborations within the fashion community should be expected."
