Costco Selling $1M Diamond Ring

The 6.77-carat, D, IF stone is said to be worth $1.6 million.

RAPAPORT... U.S. discount warehouse Costco has forayed into the high-end jewelry market and is selling a 6.77-carat, D-color, internally flawless diamond ring for $1 million.

In keeping with its reputation for a good bargain, the ring has been valued at $1.6 million by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), Costco said.

The ring comes with certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and IGI, both which can be viewed online.
