Forevermark Line is ‘Tribute to Women’s Qualities’

Forevermark is focusing on the “unique qualities and characteristics” of women in its latest collection, which it unveiled at a celebrity-filled event in New York this week.

The Forevermark Tribute Collection launch, in the trendy Chelsea neighborhood, featured stars such as Chrissy Teigen, Ashley Graham, Freida Pinto and Chloë Moretz, the De Beers-owned brand said.

The celebrities wore items from the collection, which includes layered pendants, stackable rings and drop earrings containing multiple Forevermark diamonds in a variety of shapes, all set in 18-karat white, yellow and rose gold.

“Just as each diamond tells a story, each woman has her own story to tell,” said Forevermark US president Charles Stanley. “The Forevermark Tribute Collection symbolizes the unique and multi-dimensioned woman wearing it.”

This theme reflects De Beers’ shift toward targeting women who buy diamonds for themselves, a trend the company outlined in September in its 2017 Diamond Insight Report. Self-purchasing of non-bridal diamond jewelry in the US grew by more than a third between 2005 and 2015, the report said.
