USPTO Issues Trademarks for Suashish, Robbins, Maddaoloni Jewelers

RAPAPORT...   The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office issued the trademark "Brilliance In Motion" to Ostbye & Anderson Inc. of Minnesota on August 12 with registration number 4585986. The company filed for the trademark on September 7, 2013 in reference to jewelry made in whole or in part with diamonds, gold and silver. "Brilliance In Motion" has been used in commerce since December.

Suashish Jewels Inc. of Irving, Texas received the trademark "Lovebeat Diamond" on August 12 with registration number 4585892). The trademark  was filed on August 1, 2013 and refers to diamond jewelry, namely bracelets, necklaces and rings. The trademark was first used in commerce this past November. 

Robbins Delaware Diamonds LLC of Newark, Delaware received the trademark "YEAH!" on August 12 with registration number 4583173. The trademark was filed on October 3, 2013 to refer to the jeweler's namesake. The trademark  consists of a caricature of a man's bearded face from the neck up with a diamond on the left side of his beard and the word "YEAH!" written in script going upward to the right side of the mouth. The feature was first used in June 2007 and used in a different form in January 2006.

Lou Maddaoloni Jewelers Inc. of Huntington, New York received the trademark "Maddaloni Jewelers" on August 12 with registration number 4583266. The term was first used in commerce in January 2000.

In India, the Office of The Trade Marks Registry renewed the trademark "GCI" for  Gemological Centers (GCI) Ltd. of Ramat Gan, Israel on July 14 with registration number 1823989. GCI has been using the trademark since May 1, 2007.  GCI provides  gemological services, such as diamond grading reports, and education.
