RAPAPORT... Tiffany & Co. is targeting sales in China with videos posted on Chinese web sites rather than YouTube. The campaign promotes the retailer’s signature key motif.

The Chinese language campaign, shown without subtitles, is said to be a first for the retailer. As reported by Luxury Daily, Tiffany will likely promote the campaign on other language social media networks to ensure crossover success.

The campaign’s two ambassadors, Chinese supermodel Liu Wen and Taiwanese director and actress Sylvia Chang, were chosen in part because they have different backgrounds and stories, according to the report.
